Illinois Cares Rx provides state prescription assistance to people with and without Medicare. Illinois Cares Rx provides two distinct benefit plans: Illinois Cares Rx Basic and Illinois Cares Rx Plus.

Provider Releases
Illinois Cares Rx communicates changes in its coverage and billing policies through the release of provider notices and bulletins. In addition to mailing the notices and bulletins to providers impacted, HFS also posts all notices and bulletins under Provider Releases on the Illinois Cares Rx Web site and sends an e-mail to providers registered for e-mail notification.
